System Overview:
CCTTA is an options-based trading service that utilizes Chuck’s PowerTrend System to generate trade signals. The system identifies stocks and ETF’s that qualify under Chuck’s rigorous trade selection process which uses a variety of both technical and fundamental analysis. Stock options are selected using the Optioneering Calculators with the goal of maximizing profit potential and minimizing risk for a trade.
The CCTTA Trading Service utilizes strategies designed to generate consistent returns in different types of market conditions. These strategies give members the opportunity to:
- Enter trades that can profit if the underlying stock price goes up, down, or stays flat
- Profit in both Bullish and Bearish Markets
- Profit during Non-Trending or Consolidating Markets
- Take advantage of both small and big moves in stocks and ETFs
Key Components:
- Trade alerts are sent via email and text alert. If a member can’t enter the trade recommendation until the following day, many times a better fill can be obtained the next day.
- Trade alerts only take a few minutes to implement
- There is no need to monitor your computer during the trading day
- Trade alerts include initial entries, full position exits, and partial position exits. Trade alerts give specific instructions to implement the trade recommendation.
Trading Strategies
Option Purchase
The Option Purchase Strategy utilizes the PowerTrend Option System designed to select option trades with a high probability of success. The PowerTrend Option System has a long history of profitability in both bull and bear markets. Both bullish and bearish option positions are implemented. The options traded are slightly ITM with limited Time Value and are typically held anywhere from a few days to a few
weeks.
Call options cover 100 shares of stock and provide trading leverage. Call option returns can often outperform a stock purchase by a 10 to 1 margin over the same time period. Risk is limited to the cost of the option.
Option Spreads
The Option Spread Strategy trades option Debit Spreads. Debit Spreads can profit if the underlying stock is up, down or flat at option expiration. Whenever you can profit when a stock is up, down or flat, you increase your odds of success compared
to directional option trades. Risk is limited to the cost of the option spread. The option spreads are typically held for one to two months. The bearish leg of a call option spread provides downside protection if the underlying stock declines in price. This allows traders to maintain an option spread during volatile markets with a lower chance of being stopped out of a trade and can result in a higher percentage of winning trades.
Account Size
A $5,000-$10,000 account size is recommended to trade one contract for all Option Purchase and Option Spread trade signals.
* Profit results represent historical option trades for the Lightning Trade Alerts from 05/01/2021 to 04/30/2023 and may not be typical. Profit examples are based on historical testing and not actual trades. Historical performance is not necessarily indicative of future results, has inherent limitations and does not include the costs of subscriptions, commissions, or other fees. There are inherent risks involved with trading options, including the risk of loss. You should only trade or invest your “risk capital” i.e., money you can afford to lose.
