Big Picture:
The S&P 500 has been showing some notable strength lately. Despite all the noise—politics, Fed drama, global headlines—the market’s been pretty chill and keeps pushing toward new all-time highs. The Dow, Russell 2000, and even the equally weighted S&P 500 are all hitting fresh records. The only laggard is the NASDAQ, which is kind of stuck in a holding pattern, but it’s not dropping, so we’re optimistic it could break out soon.
What’s Next?
We’re bumping up against a big psychological level: 7,000 on the S&P. Every time we get close, the rally loses steam, so expect some sideways action before we finally break through. Even if the week ends flat or a little down, it’s not a big deal—we’ve had a solid run lately.
Hot Stock Alert:
Textron (TXT) is on fire! It’s a major player in aerospace and defense, and we spotted a breakout. After cooling off a bit in December, it bounced back, and we sent out a trade alert to our members.
